We’re thrilled to announce an upgraded patient monitoring experience rolling out this spring. Starting April 8th, the CandidApp™ will update to become the ProMonitoring™ app. This will involve a new set of brand colors, a new logo, and (coming soon) new features that will help providers and their patients use this technology even more effectively. It also comes along with some subtle updates to your CandidMonitoring portal.
What is Changing?
For patients, the most noticeable changes from this current upgrade will be a new name (ProMonitoring) and improved look and feel. The basic function of the app and all account information will remain unchanged. In the near future, we will also introduce some new functionality that will offer patients more thorough guidance during the scanning process and help promote better quality scans.
For doctors, the CandidMonitoring portal will have some small changes to the look and feel, and the URL will be slightly different (progress.promonitoring.ai). Any existing monitoring links will automatically be directed, which should minimize any disruptions to the experience. All service, quality, and pricing will remain unchanged.
Why the Change?
As we continue to focus our energies on improving the clear aligner experience for our providers and their patients, we identified CandidApp as an area we could improve on. The forthcoming updates to the app will set the stage for future upgrades to our software ecosystem for providers and patients—including a planned integration of our patient monitoring portal and patient management portal.
These updates are a continued part of our commitment to our fully doctor-directed model of care, and they will not interfere with the doctors' experience using the CandidPro clear aligner system or their patients’ treatment experience.
What do I need to do?
We have already notified providers and patients of this upcoming change to the app and portal experiences. All patients need to do is install the app update when prompted. And providers can continue to use CandidPro like you normally would. You may be prompted to refresh your screen to complete the monitoring portal update, but it should not impact your practice or patients in a significant way.
